Product application:

Sodium styrene sulfonate is widely used in many production processes as an intermediate medium for the interaction between organic and inorganic substances due to its unique chemical structure.

Sodium styrene sulfonate has the following characteristics:

(1) Compared with other sulfonic acid monomers, it has extremely low toxicity,

(2) High reactivity,

(3) Excellent copolymerization,

(4) Does not decompose when added with water.

Sodium styrene sulfonate has a specific gravity of 5.5 and a thermal decomposition point of 330°C. It has no odor and is easily soluble in water.Generally, except for polar organic solvents, it is insoluble in solvents such as aliphatic and high-grade alcohol. This product is used in dyeing modifiers (polyacrylonitrile fiber, polypropylene fiber, polyester, rayon), reactive emulsifiers, water-soluble polymers (coagulants, dispersants, device cleaning agents, cosmetics), polysulfide complexes (dialysis membranes, batteries, artificial body membranes), anti-static agents (nylon, recording paper, polyester), sulfur exchange resins (membranes), photo agents (microfilms), electroplating gloss agents, etc.
